ANTIFLAM 200 | Riercing flame retardant for wood and paper products forming a thin film intumescent foam
  • This product reduces the effect of fire, heat and smoke.

ANTIFLAM 200 is a flame retardant ready-to-use on uncoated wood and paper products that require passing the Class "A" test protocol  ANTIFLAM 200 is an aqueous solution containing polymers amino polyphosphates. No polybrominated diphenyl ethers contained in its composition. Upon exposure to heat and flames, a thin film is formed on the surface of the timber as a barrier to fire, heat and smoke. Active ingredients of this patented product melt at lower temperatures and solidify as a carbon film which produces a thin foam layer and a film acting as a barrier between the wood substrate and the flame. As a result, ANTIFLAM 200 decreases smoke evolution. Moreover, this product provides resistance and flameless combustion, causing luminescence. ANTIFLAM 200 is extremely sharp and can be applied during different combustion stages of wood and cellulose products. This product is water based, low VOC, non-volatile, petroleum-free, non-flammable and non-combustible. Applied to wood, it becomes very versatile. The substrate of the wood can be sprayed or dipped in ANTIFLAM 200.

Application.

The ANTIFLAM 200 can also be applied to wood and paper products during any stage before using any coating or sellador.La treated wood should not be exposed to the outside environment to avoid contact with moisture or water until the wood has been treated. The treated wood indoors requires no special precautions before use unless it is exposed to humedad.El ANTIFLAM 200 is not permanent wood substrate, because no chemical bond and therefore for exterior applications, wood will need to be waterproofed and sealed with a suitable coating before receiving treatment. The ANTIFLAM 200 is a water-soluble product can be removed with hot water and soap. 

Packaging and Handling. 

The ANTIFLAM 200 is a liquid packaged in non-returnable drums and containers. See MSDS for proper materials of construction for the handling and storage of this product.

ANTIFLAM 600 | Intumescent flame retardant powder.
Does not require halogen donors, Zero VOC polymer amino polyphosphates.

ANTIFLAM 600 is a flame retardant that creates an insulating layer. It is provided as a white powder uses as an additive in plastics and coatings where liquid products or halogenated flame retardants may be prohibited. 

This powder has an activation temperature of approximately 425 ° F (218.3 ° C). When reacting, ANTIFLAM 600 produces a thick fireproof insulating foam that forms a protective barrier that protects the substrate from flames and heat. The product generates emissions of CO2 and water vapor that assists the cooling of substrate and acts as a blowing agent that expands the foam. 

Application.

The application rates vary and depend on the formulation, substrate and requirements according to the desired code. Initial laboratory assessments must consider a 5% - 10% by weight of the total formulation. 

ANTIFLAM 600 is made from GRAS raw materials and provides an environmentally responsible alternative over other flame retardants. Ask our Ameripol representatives for recommendations on formulation and testing protocol. 

Packaging and Handling.

ANTIFLAM 600 is a powder available in bags of 25 pounds (11.3 kg). The overall product is not hygroscopic. Store in sealed container in a non-metallic bowl and keep cool.   • This product forms an insulating film between fire and fabric.

  • This treatment may be dipped or sprayed onto the fabric.
  • It does not contain petroleum or any of its derivatives.
  • No halogen donor is required. GRAS Chemestry.
  • Easily removed with soap and warm water.

ANTIFLAM 100 is a concentrated flame retardant that can be diluted with water to be used in synthetic and natural fabrics such as cotton, hemp, jute, rayon, polyester, etc. It should be diluted with water to determine the most effective concentration in order to comply with the protocol as a fire retardant. ANTIFLAM 100 is a patented aqueous solution that contains an amino polyphosphates polymer. It does not contain polybrominated diphenyl. 

Upon exposure to heat and flames, a film is formed on the surface of the fabric, which acts as a fire, heat and smoke retardant. Active ingredients of this patented product melt at lower temperatures and solidify into a film that acts as a barrier between the fabric and the flame. As a result, ANTIFLAM 100 decreases smoke evolution. Moreover, this product provides resistance to combustion, causing luminescence

Application. 

ANTIFLAM 100 is very sharp and can be applied at various stages of fabrics manufacture. This product is water based, non-volatile and contains no VOCs or petroleum. It is also non-flammable and non-combustible. Once applied on the fabric, is very versatile. The fabric can be sprayed or immersed into the ANTIFLAM 100 solution.

This product can be added to natural and synthetic fabrics during any stage of the manufacturing process so long as the treated fabric does not contain rinse water or aqueous cleaning solution. 

Since the treatment does not produce a chemical bond, the treatment of fabrics with ANTIFLAM 100 is not permanent. 

ANTIFLAM 100 should be re-applied after any machine wash or rinse. However ANTIFLAM 100 can last 3 cycles of dry cleaning.

Constructed of highly conductive Thunderon® fibers, TAKK Anti-Static FlexCord utilizes thousands of conductive micro points to create an ionizing field that eliminates static charges from moving surfaces.

FlexCord will stretch to 100% its length allowing for precise positioning and avoiding snags with materials or objects that accidently come in contact with the cord.

Strong and lightweight, the FlexCord will not oxidize and become less conductive, providing a long service life. It is a self-energizing static eliminator which does not spark, and can be used in hazardous locations. 

The FlexCord should be placed across the surface to be neutralized and grounded to bare metal on the machine. FlexCord can be placed on either side of the affected surface in contact with or near the surface.

Available in 32.5 ft roll. Magnet Mounting kits also available for metal surface mounting.
